The forest gleamed in the evening glow. It had just stopped raining and the sun had finally broken through the gloomy sky. Sparrows glided through the branches. The air smelt of wet earth and decaying leaves. The kind of smell always associated with rain. A small butterfly danced through the dew laden grass.
